Henry Samuel, son of supermodel Heidi Klum and singer Seal, made his runway debut at Paris Fashion Week, opening the Lena Erziak Haute Couture show on January 28. His confident performance impressed netizens.

Speaking about his debut, Henry said he was both nervous and excited. “This is my first time in Paris,” he shared, adding that he planned to explore the city further with his girlfriend. “We went to the Eiffel tower yesterday, looking at the sunset, it was really nice,” he remarked.

He also spoke about his interest in modeling, revealing that he had discussed it with his mother before pursuing the opportunity. Reflecting on his runway debut, he said he focused on posture, keeping his back straight, and looking ahead.

In an interview with Vogue Germany, Henry shared his excitement about being chosen for his first major modeling assignment. “I am very proud that designer Lena Erziak selected and asked me to walk in her show,” he said.

While he kept his preparation simple, he noted one small change, “Since I usually wear dark nail polish, I kept my nails more neutral for my arrival in Paris.”

Henry credited his mother and his sister, model, Leni Klum, for their valuable advice, “Leni advised me to keep my gaze straight ahead and to walk as if I were balancing a book on my head. My mother told me to do my best and, most importantly, not forget to have fun.”

Outside of modeling and school, Henry enjoys gaming, especially FIFA and GTA, and has a passion for courtroom dramas. “Recently, I watched ‘A Few Good Men’ for the first time,” he shared. He also plays guitar, spends time with his friend Kayla, and enjoys driving around Los Angeles.

Henry shared that he admires his parents’ dedication and creativity, which have influenced him. He also mentioned that they have always supported him and his siblings in exploring their artistic passions.

Seal shared his pride in Henry’s journey with a heartfelt Instagram tribute on his 18th birthday in 2023. He wrote, “Henry you’ve taught me so much, everything from you’re [sic] undying compassion, to your humility and kindness toward others. I am so proud and privileged to be your father.”

Although no longer together, Heidi and Seal remain committed co-parents. Formerly one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples, they announced their separation in January 2012, highlighting their mutual respect and commitment to their children.

Their joint statement read, “While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.”
